Curriculum
At St Alban & St Stephen Catholic Primary School, our curriculum is a journey for the whole child—nurturing academic growth, personal development, and spiritual understanding. Guided by our vision, “Learning and growing with God by our side,” we weave faith, friendship, determination, respect, and unity into every aspect of learning.
From Nursery to Year 6, our carefully planned, sequenced and inspiring curriculum helps children build essential skills and knowledge step by step. Learning comes alive through hands-on experiences, visits, and opportunities that make the most of our historic city of St Albans and its rich connections to culture, history, and local community. We celebrate diversity, encouraging children to explore inclusive stories, artists, and ideas while fostering respect for God’s creation, equality, and global awareness.
Our children are not just academic learners – they are explorers, investigators, enthusiasts, performers, decision makers, contributors, creators, and, most importantly, confident, independent, and compassionate individuals who can thrive in the 21st century and make a positive difference to their world.
