It’s time for the biweekly Year 4 Scoop
What an action‑packed two weeks it’s been since Year 4 returned from the holidays. The classrooms and playgrounds have been buzzing with energy, curiosity, and plenty of teamwork.
In PE, we’ve been putting our competitive spirits to good use with a range of team sports, building skills and cheering each other on. Our History lessons took us back in time as we explored the story of King John and the Magna Carta, uncovering why this famous document still matters today. Over in RE, we stepped into the shoes of Peter to discover the wonder, forgiveness, and friendship found in knowing Jesus.
Science brought its own sweet surprise as we classified Liquorice All Sorts, a fun introduction to our upcoming work on classifying animal species.
But without a doubt, the standout moment of the fortnight was our special visit from athlete Jodie Williams. She brought incredible energy to PE with some exhausting but exhilarating athletic drills. Later in the day, she inspired the whole school with a motivational assembly that left everyone buzzing with determination and pride.
With the sun shining and spirits high, Year 4 is more than ready for the rest of the summer term. Here’s to more learning, laughter, and unforgettable moments ahead!
