St Peter's House Celebration
Close to their patron saint's feast day, the children in St Peter's House gathered to celebrate their house saint. Dressed proudly in red, the colour of St Peter's House, the children came together for a special celebration of worship and fun.
Some of our Year 6 children led the worship beautifully with thoughtful prayers, readings and uplifting songs, helping everyone reflect on the life and example of St Peter.
Fr Michael joined us and delivered an inspiring homily. He reminded us that, like St Peter, we should never give up, even when we face challenges. Fr Michael spoke about how Jesus called Peter "the rock" on which He would build His Church, encouraging us all to be strong in our faith, show courage and trust in God.
After our worship, the celebrations continued outside in the glorious sunshine. Children enjoyed a range of fun games in the playground before cooling off with delicious ice lollies. There was lots of laughter, smiles and a real sense of togetherness as everyone, dressed in their red house colours, celebrated all that St Peter represents.
It was a fantastic afternoon dedicated to our house saint, St Peter, and a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together in faith, friendship and celebration.
